This on-site consultation is the first step to preparing your property for sale. Each of us lives in our home in a manner perfectly suits the way we and our families use the spaces. When it comes time to sell, our "home" our priorities must change and our focus becomes about changing our current home into someone else's dream home.

It is almost impossible for a home seller to be completely objective about their property and that is why we have developed our Home Staging Consultation to provide our clients with all the information they need to prepare their property for sale.

We understand that having someone look around your current home, making recommendations for furniture placement, paint color, repairs and maintenance issues as well as updates is stressful but It's important to remember that our professional stagers are there to provide you with the information you need to prepare your home for sale so that the future owner will love it as much as you have.

Once the tour is complete, your stager will sit down with you and discuss the recommendations and why they’ve made them. Together, you’ll make a plan based upon your preferred listing date, your availability, and skill set as well as your ideal budget. It may be that you are a talented DIY’er and have the time do most of the work yourself, maybe you're a talented DIY’er but just don’t have the time or the right skill-set to do the work yourself or, maybe you've never painted a wall before and don't want to learn. What recommendations get approved and who does the work is always up to you but obviously, the more work you can get accomplished, the easier it will be to sell your property. After all, people buy homes, not to-do lists.

 

We like to think that a pre-sale consultation is like getting a map before hitting the road to someplace new. Knowing where you’re going and how to get there, will save you money and a lot of frustration.

 

The cost for this service is just $225+ taxes, for up to 1,800 square feet

Condition Assessment with recommendations, vacant properties

 

There may be a variety of reasons why a property may be vacant but no matter the reason, unless this is a new build or renovation, vacant properties still require an overall condition assessment to determine if the property requires cleaning, repairs or updates. Since a vacant property takes much less time to assess, the cost for this service reflects that fact. After the assessment is complete, your stager will prepare a staging proposal to showcase the property with rental furnishings and décor.

 

The cost for this assessment is $100 and the staging proposal is provided at no extra charge.
